This is a hands-on science experience every school student should attend! Science in the City brings you science exhibits, shows, workshops and talks conveniently located at the Australian Museum, opposite Hyde Park, Sydney.
The Science in the City Expo runs from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm daily with suitable days for both primary and secondary school students. The Expo has a reputation for inspiring budding scientists as well as engaging students of all levels.
General entry to Science in the City Expo and the Australian Museum is $6 per student in a school group (minimum of 10 students per group).
We recommend 40 minutes to explore around 35 displays.
In addition to the Expo there is a program of over 200 timetabled activities including talks, shows and workshops aimed at specific age groups. Many of these special activities are back by popular demand alongside a number of new presentations. After general entry these timetabled activities are available at subsidised costs varying from $1.90 to $10 per student.
Bookings are essential for these special activities and numbers are limited - so please book early to avoid disappointment!
