Opportunities for graduating engineers are excellent. Engineers earn considerably more than other people who enter a career path with just a bachelor's degree. Sometimes this can be as much as 75-100% more per month, depending on geographic location and engineering specialty.
Engineering involves knowledge of the mathematical and natural sciences (biological and physical) gained by study, experience, and practice that are applied with judgment and creativity to develop ways to utilize the materials and forces of nature to benefit people.
