Risk Assessment

The Department of Education requires all adults working with children to sign a Prohibited Employment Declaration Form. All adults involved in Science in the City in 2008 will have completed the form prior to the start of Science in the City activities. The Science in the City office retains a list of staff involved in Science in the City activities from each participating organisation.

All activities at Science in the City events are undertaken by qualified staff. Science in the City staff maintain the highest of safety levels at all times.

In its seventh year Science in the City remains one of Australia's largest Science Week events for students and teachers. We aim to provide an opportunity for students to learn about the world of Science in a safe environment.
